Graze Subscription Box Review

I discovered subscription boxes this year and I'm hooked! Something about getting a package full of surprises in the mail every few weeks is really magical. I'm subscribed to several and plan to begin reviews of the contents each month.

Graze is the latest box in my subscription portfolio. Graze is built upon the idea of a "better way to snack". The snacks are designed to be tasty as well as good for you. A paradox that is always looming over the world of health food.

I was excited to try out this box as I am always looking for better ways to snack. I subscribed to the Nibble box which comes every two weeks. There is also a Lite box that comes once a month. Each box costs $6 including delivery (which is a great deal). Another great thing is that you get to rate each item you get. Choosing trash will make sure you never get that nasty item again while choosing love will increase the amount of times that item will show up in your box.

Here are the contents of my first box:

Source
  • Toffee Apple: Sticky caramel dipping sauce with dehydrated granny smith apples.
  • Olive and Rosemary Bruschetta: Mini tomato bread sticks, rosemary and garlic cashews and kalamata olive croutons.
  • Salt and Vinegar Nut Selection: Salt and vinegar almonds & peanuts.
  • Florentine: Pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate buttons and cranberries.

As you can see in the photo above I did not like the toffee apples at all. I can only tolerate the texture of dehydrated apples if they are sliced super thin and crisp. These are chunky and thus are spongy in texture (gross).

The olive and rosemary bruschetta was yummy. It made me feel like I was eating a rich pasta dish like lasagna. I rated it as like as I wouldn't be too heartbroken if it didn't come again for awhile.

The salt and vinegar nuts were just okay. Nothing special to write home about. It seemed like they were lightly dusted with flavor and when I think about salt & vinegar I really am wanting to be assaulted with it. These left me underwhelmed.

The shinning crown of the quad was the glorious Florentine. This really had it all; crunchy & nutty pumpkin seeds (which I have never had shelled by the way), tangy dried cranberries & rich dark chocolate. It was a DELIGHT to eat. I finished it with great speed and was yearning for more. I marked this as love and pray to the Graze gods that it shows up again in my next box.

So are you ready to get on the Graze train? They have a sweet program going on now where you can get your first & fifth box free! Use my code below and I'll also get $1 off my next box :) You gotta be quick though... I only have four uses for my code. Head on over there now!
